Hi Katja,

No I haven't had a steak yet. Lol, I remember me being concerned

about that pre-surgery. Now that I look back I think that there were

other things that should have been a priority for me. Since surgery

my appetite has really gone down. It's strange. I always thought it

would be the opposite but the weight loss has been great because it

means I'm back to my original weight when I started my master

degree. Being a student somehow always causes me to gain weight. I

have been experimenting with harder foods recently but still find I

can't do super hard stuff like carrots etc. I managed to smush some

sushi into my mouth this weekend and that was great!

I'm glad to hear that your canted bite is being resolved. It's so

frustrating when things just don't fall into place. Sometimes I feel

like this orthognathic business will never end. And I kknow what you

mean about 3 times wearing braces not being a charm. This time

around is 4th for me and I was not happy at all! Oh well, fingers

crossed my braces will be off by November. That would be a dream

come true!
