Guest guest
While most of us have icicles forming at the ends of our toes and noses, thoughts of sinless treats came to mind... When I was newly post-op, I had purchased a Hawaiian Shaved Ice Machine, which had since been donated to the local Goodwill when it went unused last summer. I loved the stuff... I just never got around to ordering their reformulated sugar free syrups. The sugar-free ice soothed my newly-formed pouch back then... and I've lately had a desire for a snowcone. Despite the chilly weather. I'm sure the large snowcone concession stand at a small shopping center near my new home has something to do with this desire. Fortunately, the stand is closed during the colder months. Hawaiian Shaved Ice now sells the type of machine that grinds up plain old ice cubes, rather than having to use their ice molds to make the blocks of ice for the shaved ice maker. Their website says that the ground ice cubes produce a coarser product. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has the machine that just grinds up the ice cubes, and how they feel about the product. (The shaved ice tends to be fluffier.) Ok. Putting my mittens back on... Keltie
