considering Orthognathic surgery

Hi,

I'm considering having Orthognathic surgery to correct a major

overbite. Could those of you who have had this procedure done, please

comment on the procedure, whether it was successful in correcting your

bite or other issue, and whether it created any complications?

If there are any of you who were recommended the surgery but decided

against it, can you please tell what your concerns were or what you

found out?

I'm really scared of the surgery since I think it sounds way to

delicate to do any surgery on the face, since there are so many nerves

and muscles and it's the first part of you that people see!
