Guest guest
Hi Samara. Your teeth will move in ways you never thought they could! I have had my braces on for almost 1.5 years and my teeth have moved so much. The process does seem the same as when I was younger. The difference is where they hook bands and wires and all kinds of other wonderful things (power chains, etc. etc.) to the brackets. If you have a good orthodontist everything will be just fine > Thanks for your reply Sara. You seem to know a lot so I hope you don't mind if I ask you another question I guess what I am trying to say is that I don't understand how the mechanics of the braces I have on now are any different than the braces that I had on in my teens. Everything is on my teeth the same way they were when I was a teenager. So what exactly does the ortho have to do to make my teeth basically move in the opposite direction so that they are going to be in their new position for my my new jaw position. Does that make any sense? It seems like the ortho would have to do something a completely different, but so far everything seems the same. > > Thanks, > Samara > >
