Guest guest
Hi Fran, I am feeling a lot better now that the antibiotics have kicked in. I got the ear infection due to my son waking up at 4.00am and it has been freezing over here and because I have been unable to eat my usual diet and lost of weight, I think my immune system has taken a beating. Back on multivitamins to help me a little. I have posted a more uptodate photo on my album. The swelling is very slowly going down, but still feel very numb, which is frustrating when you talk, also the bands are hurting my gums as the swelling comes down or may be because in certain areas the numbing has gone that I can feel it more, but its well worth it. The orthodontics has told me I don't need a lot of adjustments and I should have my braces off by January or February all going to plan. That is 8 months earlier than expected. I was told i wil have braces for 12 months before my operation and then for anothe 12 months after the operation. I only had my braces for 8 months when i was told I could have the operation, ( I had to wait a couple of months as my surgeon was on holidays, and then it takes another month for then to do all the tests before the op)so I had the op at 10 months after braces and then I will have the braces for 5 months after surgery, so it comes to proof every one is different and they can only give you a guide on what is going to happen. My teeth moved a lot quicker than they expected. Does that mean that I will have problems after they take my braces because the move too quick? I will have to ask that question in my next appt. Oh well, hope all is going well. My email address is abms@... if you want to email me direct. Take care, > > > > Hi all, > > > > I am 3 weeks pot op.
