Storm and family

Hi guys, I know it has been forever since we have been on here, life

is soooo busy right now. I have 4 foster children ages 18 mos., 3

yrs, 16 yrs, and 16 yrs. Plus Paisley just turned 13 UUUUGGGHHHH!!!

and Storm of course who is 10.

We have battled Mono, along with some very difficult asthma episodes

over the last year. I am continuing in college to try and finish my

Bachelors degree. (It's looking like I may graduate next May - 2007)

Storm is on the growth chart at the 5% line (I think he made the 3%

line last year). He has gained quite a bit of weight due to oral

steroids for his asthma, but has not lost it after getting off the

steriods. He is still on gh, prevacid, advair and flovent. We stopped

the reglan last summer when he was so sick with mono. His doctor is

not having us to restart it! I'm happy with that, fewer meds!!!

Storm is starting to show some signs of puberty although his labs

still show normal values. His endo says we will start lupron as soon

as we see a spike in his labs or his bone age (which is already

catching up!) Storm is adamant that he does not want to take the

lupron, and I am not sure what to do! It would be such a shame to

loose all the progress he made on the Gh. He has an appointment with

the endo in a couple of weeks.

I am hoping to come to the convention this year, but don't know if it

will be possible! I just don't have time to do a fund raiser and

well, no $ to speak of. Storm wants to come so bad! He really missed

it last year! He keeps asking if we could go if it were just him and

I rather than all four of us! I just don't know how! BUT, we will see

what we can do! Blessings to all of you!

Carmen, mom to Storm, RSS, I really don't know his weight and height

right now, but I think he weighs around 70 pounds and is around 50

inches, but I could be totally off!!!!!
