Guest guest
Hi Tonya, You are not a big baby! You are allowed to feel sorry for yourself! Anyone who has gone through any type of surgery can empathize with you. You have been through a major trauma to your body both physically and mentally. You need time to heal. Allow your self the time to heal emotionally and physically. Be patient and judge your recovery week by week, not day by day. You will be surprised how much you improve! Hang in there. You will get through this! Healing hugs, Elana
Guest guest
I had a terrible night last night. Night 4. Can't sleep more than an hour, wake up in a panic, heart racing and can't go back to sleep. Havent slept in days and now I'm weak and exhausted. Any ideas? It's all this stuff in my mouth. And I'm only banded. Not even tightly. I'm a 38 year-old-baby. Usually, I'm really tough with things like needles or anything, but not this. I hate being numb and swollen (now day 5 is going down some). You know, you wonder why you did this to yourself and you just want it to end soooooon. Thanks for the listen>Tonya big baby. Guest guest
Try to change position for a few days, like sleeping in a sitting position, rather the usual lying down on the bed. No, it won't provide full restful nights of sleep, but you may get more sleep than what you currently get. That'll also get your mind set on something else, time for it to put the panic on " the back burner " for a while Ray
