Noah Update

First of all I just want to say that I hope all is well and that the

little one's in and just out of the hospital are doing well! Hope

you all had a very Merry Christmas (for those of us that celebrate

that) and very Happy Holidays for those of you that celebrate other

things!

I had to fly down to London (Ontario)urgently at 7am on tues the 13th

as my Dad was failing. As it has turned out he has made yet another

miraculous recovery (he's like a cat I think) by the time I got there

he was off of most of the machinery and now he is even at home. He

is 80 years old and for at least the last 30 has had heart trouble

and a host of other ailments. I'm very thankful that he's pulled

thru yet again.

I got home on Tues the 20th and we were off to the ped on the 21st.

Noah gained 7 ounces ... it's funny how when you tell people that it

doesn't seem like such a big deal, but for a boy who has been the

same weight for the last 6 mos that was quite the gain for 1 month!

The doc was very happy! The endo from London had sent a letter to

the ped to let him know where things stood for Noah as far as GHT and

the ped seemed very pleased with this information too.

Anyway Deb ... I hadn't had a chance to email your endo before I got

wisked away to London and our ped now seems to be content with the

London one ... so I'm am going to give our London one your guy's

email address and suggest that if he wants he can contact him and if

both are willing share infor. (hope that's not as confusing as it

looks).

Does anyone know if RSS / GH deficient kids need to do catch up

weight before starting GHT? I'm going to take a look and see if

there are any articles available regarding that or not. Also I'm

going to take the ones that I have and order the new one I saw in the

newsletter to take to London when we go visit the endo again at the

end of January. We are supposed to be getting our GH and lessons

then and I'm just not sure if I'm comfortable with that and Noah's

weight.
