Guest guest
I had lower jaw surgery and though the surface of my face is not numb, I think I got muscular nerve damage in my face because my smile is lopsided now. The left side of my lower lip does not go down when I smile (in fact, I can't really move the lip on that side) whereas the right side goes down like normal. I had the surgery on Sept 19 and there has been NO improvement at all since then. How soon will I know if this is permanent damage? Can physical therpay help??
