Guest guest
Dear all Hows things?? First of all, let me introduce myself... I am a Spanish bloke aged 31, who is undergoing an orthodontic treatment in order to get ready for a Lefort I osteotomy necessary to fix my maxillary hypoplasia I got... I dont know about there, but here in spain doctors seem to be quite cautious and reserved, up to the point of not giving you any extra info unless you insist, and never willingly. I know I am being treated by one o the best maxillofacial surgery teams around here, and that kinda makes me a wee more relaxed, though I have many fears flying around my head. For instance, they told me that they wouldnt draw me a diagram or something of my aspect after the operation, as they dont want to create false expectations... I would like to know up to what extent a lefort I makes you lose facial sensitivtiy, and whehter it is recoverable... I would like to know if the post op is that horrible that you would regret having undergone such a deal... I would like to know if you are a sporting person, how much fit you lose and stuff... I know these questions are quite general, but I have been under braces now for a bit more than a year and supposedly I will have my operation in a matter of 6 months or so, and as time passes I start to freak out... Thank you in advance and I will post my pics as soon as I got them scanned... Best Regards Raúl
