Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the luck! I have to have bands and I assume I won't be able to eat properly for quite some time after the surgery because my back teeth will no longer meet once they move my bottom jaw forward and down. I'm not sure about whether I will have to have a splint, the surgeon said I might need one. I guess I'll find out more in two weeks when I see him again. I feel like I don't know anything at all about what's going to happen, but I will ask lots of questions at my next appointment. My PhD thesis is due the day before my surgery - not sure if that's an omen or its some kind of weird irony!! But if all goes well I can afford to have a month or so just doing nothing around the house! Sam.
