Lucille, I agree, I took bottled water the last time I went to NYC

because I figured the tap water would be absolutely awful, but

Manhattan's water was absolutely wonderful. I also love the water in

Lake Tahoe too. Both cities I would rather drink water than anything

else because it is so good - but then there is FL where I live, and in

my area the water is either sulfur (rotten eggs) or chlorine

smelling/tasting. YUCK!!

It really depends on where you live, Fay. Some places the tap water is

DISGUSTING. Not just tastes disgusting, but smells horrible. Best

tap water I

ever tasted was what we got in Brooklyn. Worst was what we got when we

lived very briefly in Sarasota, Florida.

We didn't move back to Brooklyn, but we did move back to NY (not for the

water tho! LOL!)
