Guest guest
Hello Elana, and welcome... I may have posted this before, but your big concern needs to be whether your child is ready for the surgery -- i.e., whether she's completed her growth. If not, a late-blooming growth spurt could make everything out of kilter again, and require more surgery. I believe that there are scans of the hand and arm that can inform about the condition of the bone plates, and whether the growth is complete. As for the chicken pox, it's nasty. I had it back when I was a kidlet. I'm convinced that when I went with my husband to an appointment in the office of a very busy EENT doc, I was exposed to it again, and came down with shingles in my face. I hope you have nothing similar. C. > Hi Everybody! > > What a wonderful supportive & intelligent group you are!
