How soon after diagnostics can I get my braces on?

Hi all-

Quick question. Typically how long after getting all the diagnostics

done (xrays, models, etc.) can you get your braces on? I have my

diagnostics appt. this week, and I want to get the braces on as soon as

humanly possible. Does it usually take a few more weeks after getting

all the xrays and models done before you can get the braces on? a

month or two?
