Anita,

How's you daughter doing?

While in surgery (i had a cobined Le fort one and two, bimaxillary osteotomies,

major nose reconstruction, cheek bone and bone graft surgery) one of the

brackets came off and it remained off until last Tuesday. I am almost five

months post-op and the brace was broken for four months three weeks. Apart from

some movement of the tooth my teeth appear to be the same as they were pre-op.

Oh my is doing amazing!!! She is so very beautiful. She

was beautiful before but so much more so now. She barely bruised or

swelled and the main issue was her dislike for the splint. Now that

its gone she is a happy camper. Her upper teeth from the canine to

the other was longer on one side than the other. Looked very

strange. So far with just having the wire on since Tuesday she is

looking so much better. It's leveling out. The Orthodontist said

this was a fix he could do but I keep wondering how this happened.

From the surgery or the fact she was without a wire on her teeth for

6 weeks.

Write me as I want to share her photo's with you.
