Guest guest
- thanks for asking. Took Ian to the doc this morning and we don't have to go back for another month. Ian is healing and what I thought was puss this weekend is actually granulation tissue - apparently - the good kind. I mentioned I didn't think granulation tissue was ever a good thing - but, he said sometimes it bleeds and that's not good - but, Ian's looks very healthy and is attaching well and hopefully will close up sooner than later. He also thinks I was taking off the scabs when I cleaned him - so, I was told to leave the scabs alone and not mess with the granulation tissue (I thought it was puss and trying to clean it out!!) Anyway, he's on the antibiotic still for a few more days but his behavior and energy have definitely gotten much better. He's even starting to sleep on his side and I've found him with his bottom up in the air a couple of times! Now I just have to get through the last 4 months of insurance/hospital bills, get the house clean to my satisfaction and get ready for more stress! Joe's parents are coming in town next weekend (9th) - oh brother! LOL - H > > > > > > > > > > Can someone get me up to speed on the insulin issues that are > > > faced > > > > by > > > > > a RSS kid?
