Hi everyone,

I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this group

I am trying to get the ball rolling on this whole maxillofacial surgery

thing...

I am in the process of getting individual health insurance. I am

wondering if anyone here living in FLORIDA has INDIVIDUAL health

insurance (perhaps with Blue Cross Blue Shield) that actually covers

maxillofacial surgery. I know there are oral & maxillofacial surgeons

covered in some of Blue Cross's policies but the provider directory

omits whether they are covered by individual or group insurance (which

I have heard makes a huge difference)--most individual policies exclude

things like maxillofacial surgery, right?
