I think every two years is a reasonable recommendation and plan to talk to my pulmonologist about it. I do think more may be needed if there is a sudden change and think it is a valuable tool for diagnosis. It was interesting to note the vast differences between doctors- those who are extremely cautious about the extra radiation and schedule very few scans and those who are extremely cautious about changes in their patients and schedule frequent scans. Every three months seems excessive, but all of us are so different it is hard to say for sure. Anyway- thanks to all! R.
