Guest guest
Dear friends, I had my appointment with the GI doctor and he thinks that my esophagus shoulnd't be a problem for my transplant, he wants me to have a surgery in my esophagus during the transplant surgery. I think that surgery is called esophyx or something like that. My lungs are really giving up, I am loosing weight fast, i dropped two sizes in less than a month, i mentioned to my pulmonologist but she didn't comment anything, maybe this is normal in people with low DLCO? I can't take a deep breath, i don't cough much. I do have to stop and catch my breath while doing simple tasks, but not due to coughing, is more like an "off" feeling or like i really need to rest. I still have some more tests done before the doctors can decide if i am a candidate for a trasnplant. G. 36 years old. Baton Rouge LA.
