Guest guest
Honey, if you can handle all that, why are you fiddling with ensure and boost??? I saw a surgeon on teevee tonight who made the Dr. X special. I swear, he got a big plate of french fries, piled on some grated cheese, nuked them, dipped them in catsup and made a meal of them. If I did that, my cardiologist would be the first one to walk up and say, " Hello, Cammie. " My general care physician would be right behind him. Me, too, about the Braun. Unfortunately, September a year ago, Hurricane Ivan (and the subsequent repair people) wrought incredibles in my kitchen. I still have no real oven and no stovetop, and Gawd only knows where the braun (and a lot of my other cooking gear) are. I tried to fry an egg (my hubby calls it a " dip egg " in a combination of the microwave and the toaster oven one day this week. He was very sweet about it (and very hungry) but the results were, um, odd. But some day, as Miz Scarlett said, As God is my Witness, I will never go Braunless-stickblenderless again. Even if not for dip eggs. And this may not be safe advice, but I found I could just run a pyrex cupful of hot soapy water, poke it in there, and let it clean its business end when I turned it on.
