Guest guest
Maybe some one who has a lot of experience with the SCD can explain to me if this is normal or not. Before I started on the diet, I was able to eat pretty much everything with out too much or any discomfort aside from D. And that was not nearly as bad as some people on this site explain they have. Now three months in to the diet I am so sensitive to everything. Even the yogurt that I had previously had no issue what so ever with gives me strong stomach pains. Last night i had crab legs and clams. Really had terrible gut pain. I have been eating crab legs and clams since I was a teen and now after being on this diet I can not tolerate them. Is this part of the healing process or because I have changed my diet from agriculture to hunter gatherer? Is that why we go in stages, and wait until our bodies can tolerate food we once had no issues with? I hope some one has some answers. Also what can I take that is legal for my gut when it acts up so bad. In the old days I would just take Pepto Bismol. Thanks for all the help. I would have never made this diet work without the great people on this site. Phil
