Guest guest
Hope everyone had a joyous and blessed Christmas. My hope and prayer for 2010 is that the ongoing research into the causes of ILD will lead to a cure. For each of you I wish relief and success in the battle in which we fight to breathe every day. I took a month's hiatus from reading the posts, because it was taking a lot of time to read them (many duplicates) and I found myself becoming obsessed on how I was feeling. My wife who has Alzheimer's Disease needs a lot of my attention so I need to make good use of my time. With Christmas and all that entails on top of the normal stuff I felt it best to just delete the posts. Since my last post I've had a HRCT scan and PFT's. News is good. Everything is stable..much like 6 months prior. I've successfully mastered a full face CPAP mask, so sleeping is better. With all that good news wouldn't you think I'd feel better? Weakness and fatigue are my two major complaints. My primary MD, a smart and caring man, says my body is using a lot of energy trying to keep me breathing, so I guess I need to learn to pace myself. Thanks to all of you, especially Beth and Bruce, for the good info you've shared. It's been very helpful. Guest guest
Hi Ted, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I had to laugh as I have made my self not look at the board on weekends because I too seem to get a tad bite obsessive LOL. And I keep thinking if I get more rest or sleep or something I won't be so tired. And to have a sick spouse makes it doubly hard. Here's to feeling better and hopes for a cure!
