Guest guest
It's 2:29 am in the morning. I'm laughing so hard my belly hurts. I figured, before reading and responding to any posts - I had to share my belly ache with all of you. My dh has bouts of insomnia. Not a big deal - we are used to them. He usually doesn't wake me - but, yesterday - I told him that since he was awake in the middle of the night these days anyway, Ian has a cold and I wanted him to try to feed him in the middle of the night. So, while I was sleeping, my dh tried feeding him. To no avail, Ian started coughing and my dh ended up bringing him into the bedroom to me. So, Ian's coughing and coughing and I'm starting to wake up a little. Next thing I know - Ian says " Mommy, I want a waffle. " LOL I said " Right now? " LOL LOL And, of course he says " Yes, mommy - right now " . LOL LOL. (Who's going to refuse a sick RSS kid? LOL) Well, when my husband and I want to make a decision to do something fare - we play Rock Paper Scissors. If you are not familiar with the game, each person counts to three by holding their hand in a fist in the air. At the third count, you either keep your hand in a fist (rock), keep it flat (paper), or use two fingers (scissors). Paper covers Rock (Rock loses), Scissors cuts paper (paper loses), Rock flattens Scissors (Scissors loses). Well, I almost ALWAYS win at this game (ESP <grin> - just kidding). Well, I was laughing so hard - everytime we had our hands out - we would have the EXACT same position of hands. I couldn't stop laughing. To hear the groans in my husbands voice - waiting for the inevitable loss he surely would take - just had me in stitches. It was hysterical! LOL LOL LOL It kept going until about the 12th time and finally......well, I lost. Here I am. LOL LOL LOL Serves me right for laughing so hard. Ian's at the table - not eating his waffle or blueberries or crackers - but, he told me I was beautiful and funny. This kid is a keeper! LOL LOL - H
