Hi Frances,

We've found the same thing with . Giving him some amount of control

over the whole situation, has really helped! He hated the trapped feeling of

us holding him down. It did take longer to get the shot given in the

beginning, but now that he has a say about where the shot is given, and he

gets to press the button on the Inject-Ease, it gets done rather quickly.

It's also done as part of his regular bedtime routine here, so he knows it's

coming. He gets his bath, then I dress his tube, diaper him, and ask him

where he wants his shot. It's the same every night that he's with us, like

clockwork.
