Guest guest
Just got off the phone with . Ian tolerated the ng feeds very well last night. He is up to 40cc/hour. Unfortunately, they lowered his D10 IV to 15cc/hour and his blood sugars began to drop. I told that they need to increase the ng feeds AND add polycose or some sort of sugar to the Nutren that he is getting. That will help stabilize the blood sugars. His body is obviously reacting to the stress of being sick and that can throw off blood sugars considerably. Chrissy has learned that with Madison. is determined to take Ian home tonight. She is working on getting everything straightened out so that she has what she needs at home and his blood sugars are stable. She is on a mission!
