Guest guest
We got some interesting and high protein bars at the Stanford Celiac COnference- I wish I could remember the name, but they had dried fruit (blueberry) inside, and a chickpea flour covering that made them quite hearty. Can anyone help me out with the name? I can't stand the envirokidz cereal bars, unfortunately. I recently tried Lara's banana cookie power bar, and it was very... fruity. More like a condensed fruit leather bar than a cookie or a power bar, but if you know that going in, they're pretty healthy. Too bad about the price! Guest guest
Hi, Several months back Costco carried something called Boomi bars, which are fruit and nut bars advertised as GF. My daughter is celiac and she loved them!! They are really good. They also had protein bars of either almond or cahsew. Really healthy in that there are no chemicals or strange additives. Costco doesn't seem to be carrying them but I have seen them at many stores. They are pricey and were a great deal at costco. However, you can order them on line from boomibar.com Sabreena

Celiac on the warpath to get costco to carry boomie bar. they are great teasting I for one will be in line. eileen
Guest guest
How did you get them? I went to their site and saw some of their other products that I'd like to try but didn't see where to get them. > >We got some interesting and high protein bars at the Stanford Celiac > >COnference- I wish I could remember the name, but they had dried fruit > >(blueberry) inside, and a chickpea flour covering that made them quite > >hearty.
