Guest guest
Hi again, After I wrote my last message, I did think of something else. I also use a bite block to stretch my jaw. It's one of those rubber wedges the dentists put in your mouth to hold it open while they work on your teeth. I use the therabite to get as wide open as possible and then I wedge the block in. I keep it in for at least 20-30 minutes or as long as I can bear it and it really stretches out the muscles. Mine is only a pediatric size 01 so I'm sure there are larger ones that might work for you. I also have a wooden clothespin that my surgeon gave me. He glued two tongue depressors on either side lengthwise. I wedge it between my molars to pry them open. When I'm able to open more, I can glue more tongue depressors on to make it bigger. Good luck, > > > If you're at 35 mm already, why do you want more?
