Question - Is this normal?

I am two days post op from having my pallet expansion and wisdom teeth

removed. I currently cannot feel my top teeth at all except the

molars that hold the expander. Is this normal? Will the feeling

return? I expected the swelling, pain, etc and I'm dealing with that

OK, but the numbness I didn't expect at all.

Appreciate anyone's thoughts on this.
