Guest guest
Hey everyone, I have a question. After you have a surgery this (orthognathic), you're gonna be numb even after the novocain (sp?) wears off because the ends of your nerves have to regenerate. Anyway, I'm a month post-op now (yay!) and I asked my surgeon if I could continue to floss and he said I could. Since my upper gums are numb, it feels REALLY, REALLY weird to floss my upper teeth, because I can't feel anything. Even brushing my gumline while I brush my teeth is a little weird. Has anyone had this type of problem? How do you floss when you have no feeling up there, or how are you coping with it? Thanks,
