Guest guest
a " trapeze " medically is an overbed trapeze or to explain better, some hospital bed have a framework that goes over the bed with a triangle shaped hanging thing called a trapeze to grab onto to help raise yourself in bed. I have to pass along something that I thought was hysterically funny!!! Tonight, I was reading an abstract of an article (Open vs. Laparoscopic RYGBP: Comparison of Operative Morbidity and Mortality) and they were listing complications that occurred in their subject groups (one group was open, the other Lap). Okay, so I'm cruising through this abstract, reading the normal things; Gastrojejunal Perforation, Gastrojejunal Stenosis, Ventral Incisional Hernia, Cholecystitis... yadda yadda... okay, so then, there it is -- the FUNNIEST complication I have ever heard of occurring from WLS: Hit in Head by Trapeze > >
