Guest guest
Hi everyone, This is my first posting to the group, although I’ve been reading a lot of good emails and advice from people on here for a while. I am about 2 weeks away from my surgery date to have upper and lower jaw as well as genioplasty done. I’m getting very nervous although this group has helped me so much in discovering good info. Thanks so much!! Couple of questions… is it normal to often be second guessing my decision to have surgery? It’s probably just that I’m getting more scared as the day approaches, but I feel so indecisive at times wondering if I’m making the right decision taking this risk. Also, I’ve read a lot about people having bone removed from another part of their body (like the hip) to use in the procedure. How common is that and what percentage of people have this done? My surgeon never mentioned this, but I plan to ask him about it when I see him this week. This really scares me as I’d never considered it before I read about it on this site. Can someone tell me more about this bone graphing and how their experience was if you had this done? Thanks a lot! Amy --------------------------------- Yahoo!
