Guest guest
MAGIC offers scholarships to families who would like to go to the convention, but without financial assistance would not be able to attend. Anyone interested in applying for a scholarship can contact me at daycarney @ everestkc.net. There is an application you'll need to fill out that I can mail to you. Simply email me your request and include your address, child's name and DOB. I'll get an application to you quickly as all scholarships are first come, first serve. You can check out the convention program at www.magicfoundation.org <http://www.magicfoundation.org/> or call MAGIC at 800-3MAGIC3 and request a program. All of the monies for our scholarship program are funds that other families have donated for this purpose. Any family wishing to fundraise for their trip, or to provide for someone else's, can call MAGIC and request a copy of the fundraising guide. MANY families fundraise for their trips and it's easy!! MAGIC also has brochures you can pass out to family and friends that have a tear off donation page they can send into MAGIC with their donation. It's tax deductible and did I mention easy!!! Last year, my husband and I raised enough for our entire trip, by simply mailing brochures to our family and friends!! 2 garage sales helped someone else come!!! I am planning on going to the Convention, can you tell me where to get more info. about the scholarship? Are there any other qualifications? This year it will cost us for the 3 nights around $2000.00 for a family of 4. We do have some money from word of mouth just telling people we know family and friends who have donated to us. > Every little bit helps. > > Convention question > > > Hey ya'll... > > About how much does it cost to attend the convention?
