Guest guest
, my chewing has been getting better too but just like you there are certain foods i can't handle yet e.g. steak! I have been eating more and more tender meat though and it is so yummy! I'm still a long way off crackers and carrots too. I think I'm more afraid than anything since my OMS told me I could eat anything i wanted within reason. I was craving peanuts the other day and so tried to eat those by sucking on them a while until they got soft enough for me to bite into. I got tired of this technique after 5 peanuts so I guess I'll wait a while to try it again. It's good to be able to eat salads and fruit again though! It gets better every day doesn't it? I still feel some days like my life has been put on a whole for so long because of this darn surgery and I get frustrated, but those days are fewer and fewer as time passes. How's your school work coming along?? I bet it must be so hard to concentrate on reading and writing essays now.
