Guest guest
I was watching a show on obesity on Discovery Health today and the doc was talking to a 9 y.o. boy, asked him if he snuck food. That reminded me that I would do that as a child. (I am 48 now) I was never deprived of food or snacks, yet I found myself sneaking food into my room. I can remember my mother cooking food for lunch before she went to work in the morning and I would wait till I was sure no one was in the kitchen and I would go munch on whatever she had made. I would take the small bite-size pieces of beef from the food then I would spread the food around to try to cover the holes I had left. Why do we do this? I found myself doing this during this holiday season at work; sneaking the hersheys kisses when I was alone in the office, actually not wanting anyone to see me eating them. Who the heck am I hiding from? I have resolved to not do it anymore. Anyone else remember doing this as a child? Do it now? What is it?
