Guest guest
From what I have read, I think you are okay to use it. On the Gi Prohealth website it says: During the summer months extra ice packs are added to try and keep probiotics as cool as possible on its way to your door. Summer months make it nearly impossible to ship orders to arrive cool at your door with out much higher shipping cost. If a product arrives warm just put it in the refrigerator as soon as it arrives. The ice packs usually last for the first 2 days so a product gets minimal exposure to warmer temperatures. The warm temperature will NOT harm probiotics as long as it is not for long periods of time. (more then 4 to 5 days @ 100F) And sometime back I remember a discussion that said most probiotics last up to 10 days okay out of the fridge. - SCD 4 months > > I ordered s. boullardi from netnutri in the past week and it did not come > packaged w/ ice packs. Is this normal? When you order from GI Prohealth it > comes on ice. The bottles say it must be refrigerated. In addition, I was out > of town, so it sat out an additional 2 days. Is there any value in taking it, > or do I need to re-order? > > Thanks, > Tasha >
