Guest guest Posted February 2, 2004 Report Share Posted February 2, 2004 Instead of trying to towel out the extra water from tofu just put the tofu uncut on a plate turn another plate upside down on top of the tofu then place heavy things such as cans on top of it. Leave if for a half hour and you will get great results. You can also freeze tofu and it gives a much more chewy texture.(you want to press the tofu before you freeeze it) You can then saute some onions with olive oil put a package of taco seasoning into the onions and then add the tofu.
