Guest guest
Hi Ash, I do remember! Glad all seems to be going well for you. And in time to be able to even eat that cake for your birthday too! lol Do you have any other big milestones coming up related to your surgery? Do you still see your OD or OS for followup? Good to hear from you and Happy Birthday! Hugs, Fran > > And 12 weeks post-op as of yesterday. > > For those who remember me, I have been doing well. Guest guest
Thanks for the well wishes! I will see my orthodontist until I get my braces off, which should be around April. My surgeon said I don't have to go back and see him until I get the braces off, so..yay! It was beginning to feel like his office was my second home, haha! Nope, I don't really have any other surgery milestones. It's just that every Saturday I get all excited that I'm another extra week post-op. I'm silly. > > > > And 12 weeks post-op as of yesterday. > > > > For those who remember me, I have been doing well. Guest guest
Hi Ashlee! 12 weeks - your surgery must seem to long ago! I'm glad you're doing well - happy birthday too! I've been doing lots of reading on the numb lip & chin, and there seems to be a 1-3 month recover on minor nerve exposure and then the 3-12 month recovery on nerves that may have been exposed longer. So....there's still lots of time for your lip & chin - mine are numb too so I find reading up on it helps ease my anxieties about it a little bit.
