Guest guest
so i saw a hematologist and he says i need 27 iron injections (IV) and he won't give them to me all at once, ====================================== A month ago I finished up with a series 23 iron infusions. I went twice a week for three months and it was well worth it. As my levels climbed higher, so did my energy. Just went back for my one month check up and my levels are currently at 13.7/39.4. The first appointment was for a little over 2 hrs to make sure that I didn't have a reaction to the infusion. The rest of the injections took less than ten minutes in and out of the office. My hematologist really runs on time. Only twice during that three months did I have to wait more than 15 minutes to get my infusion. Maybe you can find a hematologist who accepts your insurance so it won't be so prohibitive. Hope you're feeling better soon. Regina
