Guest guest
Hi, not sure if you remember, but I posted a couple of months ago about getting plates and screws removed because a screw was hitting a nerve. Anyway went in last night to get it done, woke up from anasthetic and the doctor said he can't take them out because it won't unscrew. He said the only was to fix it would be to go to hospital and get the screw filed down with a grinder of some type. However he doesnt want to do this, because it is near a nerve and could make my tounge permanently numb. What should I do? My mum now wants to sue, because we weren't made aware of this risk and I will now have to live with the pain of the screw on the nerve for the rest of my life.... anyone else gone through this?
