Guest guest
hi valerie, normally a big time lurker, this post definitely sent me out of lurkdome many years ago, 18 to be precise, after giving birth to my son, i had breast reduction surgery.. alone. fast forward 18 years... a rollercoaster of wt ups and downs... culminating in gastric bypass surgery and a wt. loss of 100 pounds... i found myself with tiny breasts.. flat and hanging.. two pancakes UGH So.. i returned to the same surgeon, had breast reconstruction (uplift) and implants put in this time. all i can say is for me... it was the best thing i ever did for myself. my surgeon explained to me that by placing the implants behind the breast wall (muscle) it allows for the most natural feel.. not like the hard melons people think... and although they are not AS SOFT as natural breasts, they feel just fine. i cannot tell you what a pleasure it is for me, i would have this surgery again in a heartbeat. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. the surgeon i happened to use in miami, invented a devise used in measuring nipple placement, that every surgeon uses during this procedure, and this tool was named after him. i have seen botched jobs.. so as with any plastic surgery procedure, actually ANY MEDICAL procedure.... do your homework... see other patients... other photos of past surgeries... try to use a surgeon who has computer enhanced photos so you can see your look before and after... and good luck smiles from jodi in miami
