Hi Connie,

I posted my update about my appointment, so you don't have to be

curious anymore.... it wasn't that interesting, I don't think! Or at

least it is only to me! :) Anyway, I was relieved that my OS

confirmed what I suspected/hoped my problems were and that they

weren't worse. I was a tad worried about the joint, but what he said

makes sense. I get myself all worked up over nothing. Fortunately it

usually turns out to be nothing....

I'm glad you are feeling better and doing what you can to relax and

not overdo it. I will be interested to hear how your appointment is

on Friday with your regular OS.

That is really interesting about your tongue- that you can taste but

not feel. Where mine has been numb (left side), I haven't been able

to taste either. It seems ever so slowly to be getting a little bit

better. One half of my tongue was always with feeling though. I guess

that's how I knew that the other was without. I could compare. That's

tough if you couldnt tell to begin with! I had this horrible

experience taking a pill once that got caught in my splint and I

didn't know it because it was on my numb side. So I had no idea that

it was there, UNTIL I started tasting it as it was half dissolved in

my mouth! It was so disgusting! And I couldn't get the taste washed

out and I couldn't get the pill unwedged until it disolved enough. I

was sort of panicking because for whatever reason I mildly panic over

bad tastes in my mouth. LOL I was VERY CAREFUL after that!! Now I

take only one pill at a time and place it on my feellng side of my

tongue. How wierd is life these days!?!?

I'll be looking forward to your great update on Friday as I'm sure

you are healing up beautifully.

Katja :)
