Hi All,

Just letting you all know that I did survive my first day back at

work after surgery. I think everyone at the office was more shocked

at my weight loss than my red nose, puffy cheeks, and swollen lip.

The day started out well with enjoying all the attention I was

getting being my first day back. But around 10:00am I started to

feel tore up from the floor up and was getting so tired and really

thought I was going to have to take the remainder of the day off.

But I somehow made it to 12:00 noon and took an hour nap on the

couch. My coworker was even so kind to cover me up with a blanket

during my nap. I felt better in the afternoon, probably because it

was getting closer to the time to go home..(haha) I get off at

3:30pm.

I found the biggest problem today was eating. I did manage a small

bowl of grits this morning and then around 11:00am I started getting

hungry and didn't have time to fix anything, so I just grabbed a jar

of baby food and chowed down on my entree...(haha) My coworkers of

course had a laugh on that one. I even made them laugh harder when I

pulled out my Italy imported colored baby spoon to eat my entree

with. When 12:00 rolled around I really didn't feel like eating

because after all I just had my big entree of baby food an hour ago...

(haha) So I just took an hour nap. The main problem I noticed today

was that I surely didn't get enough calories down today like I had

been doing at home.

I did notice an added bonus from the surgery today that I never heard

anyone mention yet. My laugh lines are now gone! Also I had a few

small wrinkles around my eyes and they have also disappeared. Now it

could be the swelling making it appear they have disappeared, but for

now I am going to enjoy this non wrinkled, red nosed, swollen face..

(haha) So as an added bonus I also had cosmetic surgery..(haha)

Okay, wishful thinking!
