My son received his hanger helmet when he was almost 7 months old. He started

with his measurements at 20mm, 2 wks and 3 days later he went to a 13mm, 5 weeks

later 11mm, and 8 weeks later 8mm... Our ortho told us we would be in the helmet

for 3-6 months. We will have our 3 month check up at the end of this month to

see how he is doing. We have had awesome results in the hanger helmet, but keep

in mind the helmet is only as good as your ortho. I would ask questions to see

how long the ortho has been doing helmets, any before and after pics of children

the ortho has done etc. Hope this is helpful

cover DocBand but will Starband or Hanger. Does anyone have any experience with

any of these. From what I can tell I would prefer to pay the money for the

DocBand. What are your opinions?

Our son received his Hanger helmet at 7 months as well on January 14th. He

started with 13mm and at his check-up is down to 4mm. I have been very pleased

with our result. We do have a great ortho.

We decided to go with Hanger for three reasons. First, after a consultation

with Cranial Tech and Hanger, we felt the products and quality of care to be

very similar. Second, Hanger was less expensive. Lastly, the office is 20

miles closer to our home.

Thanks,

Jenn
