VP shunts (hydrocephalus) and helmets

I'm new to the group. I was wondering if anyone has had sucess with using a

helmet when their child had a shunt? Our son has severe congential hydrocephalus

and now has severe plagiocephaly as a result of how he laid his head. I've read

some places that helmets don't work with shunts, just wondering if anyone has

had any sucess.

Thanks (Our son is 3 months old- has had this flat head since before he was 1

month old) We try getting him off of it, but it doesn't seem like it's going

better (He spent his first month in the NICU)
