Hanger cranial band vs. DOC band

I have to make a decision tomorrow on whether to get my son, 8 and 1/2

months, the Hanger or DOC band. I have already had a DOC consultation

and I was prepared to pay out of pocket, if needed, but today I found

out my insurance covers half of the band if I get the " hanger cranial

band. " I want to know what experiences people have had with Hanger. I

have heard horror stories about some types of bands not being

successful and I would rather pay than go through that. I have limited

time given my son's age. Any advice??!

I was in the exact same situation. I chose to go with Hanger. I went to consults with both places and liked them both equally. So I decided to be cost effective. My son, has been in his Hanger band for 7 weeks now and is almost finished. He will graduate in about 2 weeks. He has had amazing results. I will also add that he started treatment at about 8 1/2 months as well.

Hope this helps!!!
