Guest guest
My daughter has had her helmet for 8 weeks now. Her last appointment she went from 14mm to 7mm which was great! However this appointment (4 weeks later) she did not make any progress. My ortho said that if she did not make progress in 3 weeks that she would need a new helmet? I am beginning to wonder if the helmet is not fitting her properly. She has plenty of room to grow so I am not sure why she would need a second helmet. I asked my ortho if she thought my insurnace would pay for another one and she said that it would be considered a " do over " so they would not be billed and I would not incur any costs. So if the helmet is a " do over " isn't it strange that we would be waiting another 3 weeks to see if she has improvement? I don't want to delay her treatment by an additional month...HELP! Guest guest
That does sound weird. A new helmet means more time to grow into it? But hey a new free helmet would be nice on the other hand. How old is she? From: acohoon <abmatz3@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Tue, March 1, 2011 11:04:34 AMSubject: 8 week update...HELP My daughter has had her helmet for 8 weeks now.
