Guest guest
Congratulations!!!!! Angie Graduation Day It is finally here, my DS ael graduated today from his DOC band. For our family it was fairly painless and the four months went quickly. I will say the more relaxed about the process we were the better off everyone was. Comments? Stares? Questions?....who cares. It was the best decision and nothing else mattered.I can also say going with CT in Pasadena made a big difference too, Alissa is great and the whole staff supportive. I know there are bumps in the road and tough days, but they really are such a small part of a longer journey.Good luck to all and enjoy the ride, we did.Stacey HoogeboomBrea, CaNate - DOC band graduate 12-18-

Guest guest
Congratulations! I cant wait to be done with our helmet. I am so tired of bumping into it when I hug and kiss him. And I am tired of all the questions people give me. Twice yesterday people came up to me and said what a great idea it was to have him wear a helmet while riding in the shopping cart! Just in case he falls out he is protected. I mean, it is a good idea and all but I still have to remind myself to be patient with these people. Some days I am just not in the mood for it! Like during Christmas shopping!- Cole - DOCband (12/1/08 - present)From: stacer203 <stacer203@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2008 7:30:49 PMSubject: Graduation Day It is finally here, my DS ael graduated today from his DOC band. Guest guest
We just got back from Hanger this morning and were told that WE ARE DONE!!! I am so thankful for both the wonderful staff at Hanger and the support of all the wonderful members of this group. I don't think I would have coped as well without all of you. I was wondering if anyone experienced any problems with the adjustment period after wearing the helmet. My husband and I are both worried that the next few nights are going to be miserable with our son trying to sleep comfortably without his helmet. Thank you all!
