temporal side leaving a dent??? Opinions please???

On Saturday we noticed that the tip of the left temporal side was leaving a dip

or dent where it rests just under the cheek bone on our baby. We took him out

of it until he saw the orthotist today. He is in a hanger band for 5 weeks now.

He has plagio on his right side.

The orthotist said it is soft tissue and will fill back in after he is

discharged. Have any of you experienced this? It seems like it would've

improved over the past three days. I would hate to deform his face. Please

help!
