How long did it take until your child was used to wearing the band?

My daughter got her band on Thursday and everything seemed to be going fine. She wasn't touching it or crying. Then Sunday from midnight until 3 in the morning she pulled on it and cried. We did check it and nothing was red at all. She finally fell back to sleep with it on. Then all Sunday she was doing the same thing. I just kept distracting her, so that she would forget about it. It's hard to keep her attention off of it. I checked again today and there still aren't any red marks. How long should this go on for? I just feel so bad for her. I hate seeing my daughter so sad and angry. I hope these 3 months go fast.
