If she's in an infant carrier type car seat I would definitely recommend

switching her to a convertible rear facing car seat. My daughter was big for her

age. Around 4 mo she started crying in the car a lot. I thought she didn't like

the car, but it turned out it was the car seat. Although she hadn't outgrown the

specs but she wasn't comfy. We switched her to a britax marathon at the same

time she got her starband and she was fine.

yep, my son was in a britax decathalon (marathon with extra pads) so never had an issue, we just removedthe head support so he had more room
